Welcome to the website of the musician and percussion artist Boris Dinev! Boris Dinev is born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and lives now in Luxembourg, where he works as a teacher at the École de Musique Echternach and the Conservatoire du Nord. He is the timpanist of the chamber music orchestra of Luxembourg Les Musiciens, and plays regularly with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg. Together with some of the best Luxembourgish Jazz musicians, he plays in a formation called The Teachers, all of its members being Jazz teachers. In addition, he is active in many other formations, varying from trios to big bands.

We proudly announce that Boris Dinev is taking part in a percussion workshop in Groznjan, Croatia, as a drum tutor this summer '07. The event, officially titled 'Drummers of the East meet drummers of the West in Croatia' and organized by the International Cultural Centre of Jeunesses Musicales Croatia, promises to be an extraordinary opportunity for interested and future percussionists to have a glance at the methods and techniques of world-class percussion artists.
